TASKS:
Carry out duties involving starting up the plant by lining up valves, starting air compressors, pumps, main diesel generator, emergency diesel engine, preparing chemicals for injection/transfer as required, water maker & chlorination units and starting up all utilities system in accordance with authorised procedures.
Participates in commissioning and start-up activities as required in accordance with the approved operating procedures.
Monitors and adjusts the process parameters to sustain production as per instructions. Coordinates with other Operators to correct any deviations. Carries out routine verification checks by reading gauges, graphs, meters and control panels.
Experienced in lining up and starting /Isolating Rotating equipment, Pumps and Compressors
Performs periodical verification tests to ensure good working condition of process and safety equipment. Reports anomalies.
Coordinates with other shift staff to troubleshoot and proposes changes to ensure safety and continuity of production activities.
Ensures good housekeeping of the assigned area.
Participates in development and revision of Operating Procedures, Standing Instructions and other operations related documentations.
Responsible for starting/stopping compressors, equipment checks, preventive maintenance on engines, and certain repairs to engines and engine compressors

REQUIREMENTS:
Field Operator with 4-5 10 – 15 years plant operation experience preferably in Oil & Gas processing and production operations.
Fluent in English.
Capable to communicate and to work with all Company, Contractor and Vendors personnel.
Thorough knowledge of Safe Working Practices.
Thorough knowledge of Permit to Work System.
